Walt Disney Pictures Pixar Buzz & Woody Intro
Walt Disney Pictures Pixar Buzz & Woody Intro
#Walt Disney Pictures Pixar Buzz & Woody Intro
In Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear is first seen when given as a gift to Andy from his mother at his birthday party. Buzz (who is convinced that he is a real space ranger) quickly becomes Andy's favorite toy leaving Woody, a cowboy doll who used to hold this distinction, to develop animosity towards Buzz. The friction between Buzz and Woody is put aside at the end of the movie when they help each other escape from a child named Sid, who is fond of torturing toys. Buzz realized that he was a toy when he saw his TV advertisement in Sid's home and found out that he was "made in Taiwan". At first, Buzz is sad that he's a toy. But Woody later convinces him being a toy is good and Buzz regains his hope and he and Woody escape Sid's house, return to Andy and become friends.
In Toy Story 2, Buzz must assume the leadership of the toy gang in order to rescue Woody, who is captured by a greedy toy collector named Al, who is intent on selling Woody to a museum in Japan. Buzz and the toys eventually rescue Woody along with two new toys, Jessie and Bullseye, who come to live in Andy's room along with all the other toys. And Buzz becomes smitten for Jessie.
In Toy Story 3, Woody, Buzz, and the gang accidentally end up in a daycare center, where the leader of the toys is the evil Lotso. Buzz is caught spying, and turned back to "demo mode" where he thinks he is a real space ranger and turns against his friends, who later switch him to Spanish Mode and does not know English. This causes some confusion among the toys. Buzz turns back to his normal self after he nearly gets crushed by a television set in a garbage truck. After making their way back to Andy's house, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the other toys are given by Andy to a little girl named Bonnie. The end credits show the toys embracing their new life with Bonnie.

Buzz Lightyear is a fictional character in the Toy Story franchise. He is a toy space ranger hero according to the movies and action figure in the Toy Story franchise. Along with Woody, he is one of the two lead characters in all three Toy Story movies. He also appeared in the movie Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and the television series spin-off Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, as well as the two film sequels. His often repeated catchphrase is "To infinity... and beyond!"
Sheriff Woody Pride (a.k.a. Sheriff Woody; usually addressed as Woody) is the protagonist of the Toy Story movies and a supporting character in their spin-off media Toy Story Treats, the Toy Story Toons shorts, Toy Story of Terror! and Toy Story That Time Forgot.
Woody currently makes daily appearances in the Toy Story Midway Mania! attraction at both Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim, California and Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
In the first Toy Story, Woody is Andy's favorite toy and leader of Andy's toys. His best pal is Slinky Dog, who he often played checkers with, and he had a relationship with Bo Peep. Woody has been the favorite since Andy went to nursery school and had the place of high honor on Andy's bed as well as his owner's name on his right boot.
He holds a meeting informing them of an upcoming move to a new house, and the fact that, due to the move, Andy's birthday party is being held that day. At the request of the other toys, Woody coordinates a reconnaissance mission to discover what Andy's new toys are, as everyone fears being replaced.
To Woody's dismay, Andy receives Buzz Lightyear, a Space Ranger action figure complete with impressive electronic gadgets. He is instantly extremely popular with the other toys making Woody feel unwanted and jealous. To make matters worse, Buzz is under the delusion that he is a real Space Ranger and needs to travel back to his own planet.

This is a short personal tribute to 5 of my favourite Disney people who contributed to Walt Disney's dream.

Walter Elias "Walt" Disney December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer. As a prominent figure within the American animation industry and throughout the world, he is regarded as a cultural icon, known for his influence and contributions to entertainment during the 20th century. As a Hollywood business mogul, he and his brother Roy O. Disney co-founded The Walt Disney Company.
As an animator and entrepreneur, Disney was particularly noted as a filmmaker and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created numerous famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Disney himself was the original voice for Mickey. During his lifetime, he received four honorary Academy Awards and won 22 Academy Awards from a total of 59 nominations, including a record of four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual in history. Disney also won seven Emmy Awards and gave his name to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the U.S., as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Roy Edward Disney, KCSG (January 10, 1930 – December 16, 2009) was a longtime senior executive for The Walt Disney Company, which his father Roy Oliver Disney and his uncle Walt Disney founded. At the time of his death he was a shareholder and served as a consultant for the company and Director Emeritus for the Board of Directors. He is perhaps best known for organizing the ousting of two top Disney executives: first, Ron Miller in 1984, and then Michael Eisner in 2005.
Richard Morton Sherman (born June 12, 1928) is an American songwriter and music director who specialized in musical film with his brother Robert Bernard Sherman.
Some of the Sherman Brothers' best-known writing includes the songs from Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Slipper and the Rose, and the Disney theme park song "It's a Small World (After All)".
Robert Bernard Sherman (December 19, 1925 – March 6, 2012)[1] was an American songwriter who specialized in musical films with his brother Richard Morton Sherman. Some of the Sherman Brothers' best known songs were incorporated into movies and animations like Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Slipper and the Rose, Charlotte's Web and the theme park song of "It's a Small World (After All)"
John Alan Lasseter (born January 12, 1957) is an American animator, film director, screenwriter, producer and the chief creative officer at Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and DisneyToon Studios. He is also the Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering.
Lasseter began his career as an animator with The Walt Disney Company. After being fired from Disney for promoting computer animation, he joined Lucasfilm, where he worked on the then-groundbreaking use of CGI animation. The Graphics Group of the Computer Division of Lucasfilm was sold to Steve Jobs and became Pixar in 1986. Lasseter oversees all of Pixar's films and associated projects as executive producer. In addition, he directed Toy Story (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), Toy Story 2 (1999), Cars (2006), and Cars 2 (2011). Since 2007, he also oversees all of Walt Disney Animation Studios' (and its division, DisneyToon Studios') films and associated projects as executive producer.
I was honoured to receive a lovely comment from Robert Sherman
